Participation in canine exhibitions with dogs integrated into the Livestock Guardian Dog Programme aims to introduce these animals to other dog breeders, as well as to promote livestock guardian dogs and national breeds to the general public. With these objectives, Grupo Lobo participated in the IX Specialised Canine Exhibition of Portuguese Breeds commemorating Portugal Day, held in Santarém on 10 June, this time with two Castro Laboreiro puppies, both integrated into sheep and goat flocks in the Montalegre and Vila Pouca de Aguiar regions. Rambo (Sado‑I) and Laica (Guadiana‑II) entered the baby class and were classified as Very Good, despite difficulty adjusting to the lead.
