A pair of Castro Laboreiro livestock guardian dogs, Nero (Kroll do Casal da Roliça) and Pomba (Pastora do Outeiro da Loba), integrated by Grupo Lobo into goat and sheep flocks respectively in the Vila Real and Murça regions, participated in the 17th Monographic Show of the breed. This Monographic Show, held in the beautiful setting of the walls of Óbidos castle on 9 September, had 36 specimens of the breed entered. Nero obtained a Very Good classification, finishing 4th in the Open class. Pomba also obtained a Very Good classification, finishing 4th in the Open class. It was also possible to visit the Castro Laboreiro Dog Photographic Exhibition on display at the Cultural Centre of Óbidos.
