How to help

Every year, Grupo Lobo distributes its Educational Program to educational establishments, presenting a set of activities for all levels of schooling, from preschool to university, which can be carried out at school or at the Iberian Wolf Recovery Center (CRLI).

The activities are conducted by technicians from the Lobo Group and are adapted to the educational level in question. These sessions cover aspects related to the biology and ecology of the wolf, as well as threats and challenges to its  conservation.

To request an awareness session at your school, please contact us at least one month before the date you wish to hold the activity, via email at grupolobo@grupolobo.pt. In your request, please indicate the school year for which the session is intended, the approximate number of students, the location, date and time, as well as directions to the school. You should also indicate if you have a projector and computer available for the presentation.

We would appreciate any other information you believe may be helpful in preparing and conducting the activity. Travel costs (transport and, if necessary, accommodation) are the responsibility of the entity requesting the activity, and an additional €2 per student will be charged.

In addition to the activities mentioned, the Lobo Group has three traveling exhibitions, entitled “A Howl for Survival”, “Coexistence with Large Carnivores – The Challenge and the Opportunity” and “Looking at the Wolf”, which can be requested, subject to availability. More information in the Educational Materials section.

The presence of the Lobo Group is contingent upon their activity schedule. If it is not possible to travel on the desired day, an alternative date will be suggested.

Lectures can be held online (Zoom, Skype, etc.).
