The CRLI (Center for the Rehabilitation of the Iberian Wolf) has a Volunteer Program for people over 18 years of age interested in nature conservation and the Iberian wolf in particular.
The volunteer's work is extremely important in the development of the Center's tasks. This Program promotes participation in various activities, such as: assisting with animal feeding and monitoring; infrastructure maintenance; brush clearing and fire prevention surveillance; support for the Visit Program and office work.
The Volunteer Program runs from February to November. To register and receive more information, please contact the CRLI directly via email: crli@grupolobo.pt.
Participation in this project supports the conservation of an endangered species in Portugal. We're counting on you!
Join our pack and actively participate in a conservation project!
Volunteering is very important for NGOs like Grupo Lobo, since funds are scarce and human resources are not always sufficient for the existing work. To become a volunteer you must be over 18 years old and have a love for nature and for wolves in particular.
The Lobo Group annually receives dozens of volunteers from various nationalities who participate in several of the Association's activities:
- Iberian Wolf Recovery Center;
- Wolf monitoring in ongoing projects in the North and Central regions of the country (preference will be given to people with some experience and knowledge in this area);
- Fairs, exhibitions and other actions of an environmental nature.
The participation of volunteers in our projects has supported the achievement of some of the Lobo Group's objectives, particularly in the Iberian Wolf Recovery Center project. Our thanks to everyone who has helped and continues to help Grupo Lobo in its mission!
