At the 24th Monographic Exhibition of the Castro Laboreiro Dog, held at Barquinha Parque, in Vila Nova de Barquinha, on 14 September, two dogs placed with flocks under the Livestock Guardian Dog Programme were present, providing an opportunity to showcase the dogs used in livestock protection. Notably, the best dog at the Exhibition was a male descended from livestock guardian dogs placed under the Programme.
