The presence of Castro Laboreiro livestock guardian dogs, integrated into the Livestock Guardian Dog Programme, at the Monographic Exhibition of the breed has been a tradition for many years. This exhibition, organised by the Clube do Cão de Castro Laboreiro, in collaboration with ARDAL and the Arcos de Valdevez Municipal Council, took place on 27 October at the Porta do Mezio of the Peneda‑Gerês National Park. 22 dogs of the breed were present, judged by Judge João de Paula Bessa.
