Livestock Guardian Dogs featured on University TV

Following appearances on several national radio programmes and on RTP, the Livestock Guardian Dog Programme was featured on Canal UP – Universities and Polytechnics, in the programme Muito à Frente. The report, arising from the award of the BES Biodiversity Prize, includes an interview with Silvia Ribeiro, co‑lead of the Programme, and a livestock farmer participating in it, discussing wolf attacks on flocks, the integration, monitoring and behaviour of livestock guardian dogs, and their effectiveness in reducing damage and the consequent conservation of the wolf.
