As in the previous year, the participation of Tija (PinhoGL), a Castro Laboreiro livestock guardian dog integrated into a goat flock under the Livestock Guardian Dog Programme, in the Canine Exhibitions of Arcos de Valdevez, organised by ARDAL and the Arcos de Valdevez Municipal Council, was a success. Now older and more accustomed to these events, Tija was considered by Slovenian judge Katrin Lahi to be the best male and best dog of the breed, winning the CAC at the 2nd Specialised Exhibition of Portuguese Breeds, held on 29 October.
