Pastor, Leoa and Tigre, three Cão de Castro Laboreiro dogs and their owner, one of the shepherds participating in the Livestock Guardian Dog Programme, were among the protagonists of a radio report broadcast on 22 February on the Noite edition of Rádio Renascença. This report, by journalist Ricardo Conceição, focused on the Livestock Guardian Dog Programme that Grupo Lobo has been developing in support of Iberian wolf conservation, as well as two other conservation initiatives for species and breeds also threatened in Portugal, such as the Iberian lynx and the Mirandese donkey.
