From 20 to 21 October, around two dozen livestock guardian dog specialists from 11 nationalities met at the Encontro Cães de Gado – from Tradition to Modernity: How to Evaluate Functionality. The meeting brought together breeders, researchers and technicians to discuss the functionality and role of these dogs in wolf damage prevention.
