The Livestock Guardian Dogs Book was also presented in the Alentejo region during a "CãoMinhada" (dog walk) held on 23 October in Castro Verde. On this walk, organised in collaboration with the Liga para Protecção da Natureza, some participants were accompanied by their canine friends. Four dogs were present, including 2 female Rafeiro do Alentejo.
