This debate on "Territory of Men and Wolves" was organised and facilitated by Prof. Suzane Marcuzzo (coordinator of the Centre for Studies in Protected Areas at the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil) and by the University of Minho – Centre for Studies in Geography and Land Use Planning. In addition to Grupo Lobo, the debate also included the participation of several entities such as the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests, the Research Centre in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources, and the Association for the Conservation of the Iberian Wolf Habitat. A debate aimed primarily at cattle, goat and horse farmers, where it was possible to discuss and identify the main problems facing livestock production in regions with wolf presence, and to propose new solutions.
