Organized in collaboration with Rewilding Portugal and the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF). This is a recording of the first part of the workshop, in English, which introduced livestock guarding dogs and their importance in wolf conservation, among other areas. It included presentations by invited international speakers from Spain, Italy, and Switzerland, who focused on the legal context of these dogs in their respective countries, the obstacles encountered, and the proposed solutions. A report summarizing the invited presentations, the main points discussed in the final session, and the steps needed to implement the identified solutions is also available.
